All over Kenya, every community, estate, village and town has a designated spot where the local youth gather, to pass time, socialize, or hold barazaas.
These are the bases. Each one has a loosely-defined membership and its own codes of conduct: who's allowed to join, what activity is allowed, and who has the last word.
